About Us
A Bactiv4animals Event is a fun sponsored fitness programme, organised by the Bactiv team with the assistance of accredited fitness instructors. The programme is designed to raise heart rates and at the same time raise awareness of the cruelty to animals currently prominent in our own society.
The fitness programme is tailored to suit the size of each individual school, community group and club. Not every event will therefore follow exactly the same routine. The day will be structured around a fitness session and an eductional talk on the welfare of animals. The team will highlight the responsiblities of being a pet owner as well as discussing general health, fitness and diet.

The charity is increasingly active in schools.(view schools gallery). Our Bactiv4animals Initiative will visit 40 plus schools this year (2007/08) and relay the respsonsile pet ownership message to more than 20,000 plus pupils.

Bactiv4animals Event at Regent House Prep.

Roger, Education Manager talks about animal welfare (Regent House Prep).
By educating our next generation in an innovative new way we can help ensure the mistakes and abuses of previous generations are a thing of the past.
The response within schools has been enthusiastic with Principals, parents and pupils fully supportive of our efforts.
The local media have been very supportive with photographers and reporters at many of our events. Indeed GMTV paid us a visit at Wallace High School, Lisburn and included their event in news bulletins.
